Will you come to Sydney for something in particular? How about discovering the wanders where the WiFi is weak?
Be swept away by the grandeur of the spectacular Blue Mountains National Park.

With a blue horizon of eucalyptus trees that appear to stretch on forever, expect to be enchanted by the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. Discover why it’s listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and experience its many cascading waterfalls, canyon vistas and sweeping forested panoramas. Dare yourself on a cliff-edge hike or view it all from an abundance of accessible lookouts and gentle scenic strolls.
“Do not follow where the path may lead
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail”
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
Take the wild trail
Let’s soak up the rivers, waterfalls, forested valleys and cliffs of the Blue Mountains along the many well-marked walking trails. There are several recommended trails depends how you would like to go through the track. You can follow the original 1884 horse track from Katoomba to Jenolan Caves on the three-day Six Foot Track, or take the easy 1.8-kilometre (1.1-mile) Princes Rock Walk to a lookout over Wentworth Falls, Kings Tableland and Mount Solitary.
Walking: the most ancient exercise and still the best modern exercise.
– Carrie Late
Join a guided tour
However you can do many Blue Mountains walks independently, it’s highly recommended to join one of local guided tours if you’re not confident to walk in the unfamiliar region and weather conditions. You can discover one of Australia’s most spectacular limestone Jenolan Caves and the Blue Mountains’ rich Aboriginal heritage on a walking tour with a experienced guide from local tour agent. If your feet need a rest, spend a day on the hop-on hop-off Blue Mountains Explorer Bus or with Blue Mountains Trolley Tours. Both companies visit 29 stops, including the major attractions, around Leura and Katoomba.
